Welcome

When I was a kid, my parents took us to the best local activities.  Now, I am always on the hunt for the something to get out and do.  Having kids of my own, I spend a lot of time trying to hunt down the seasonal festivals, holiday themed events and once a year offerings.

I am tracking “special events”  – for my use, for another resource for others looking to stay entertained, and to encourage people to let me know about events before they happen. I can see why most lists seem to miss a lot – it is hard to find smaller events, especially ones that don’t pay for advertising.

Click the events page to see a list of events I have come across, focusing on annual events that are not offered on a reoccurring basis. If you know of an event that others should too, tell me about it. I will use the blog section to recap some of the events I get a chance to attend.  If you have a review, you can submit that too.
